    Hello,

Very big advantage of Parallels in compare to VMWare is very fast graphic card inside guest OS. On WinXP as primary and WinXP as guest, i can work whole day without noticing that i'm really inside virtualized OS.

Today I've tried the same scenario using Ubuntu 6.10 as primary OS. Unfortunately I see the difference . Guest XP graphic card works not very slow, but slow in compare to Windows version of Parallels.

Is this normal for Linux version of Parallels?

Is there any way to tune xorg to get the same performance as on Windows?

    Thank you.

The Tools that exist for Windoze guests are not yet available for Linux guests. You could complain louder, but already many have to no avail.

I use WinXP as guest. Parallels Tools exists, installed and running on my guest WinXP.
