I have to use Parallels version 17, because that's the latest version that supports the Mac OS my computer can upgrade to, but this has happened in previous versions also. After a few years, when Windows 10 starts installing updates, I'll start getting a blue screen telling me that there's been a problem and that Microsoft is searching for issues and fixing them. Then Windows starts just fine. However, getting this blue screen again and again is a sign that soon Windows will go kaput and I won't be able to start the virtual machine anymore. This has happened twice over the years, and I've lost data. Is there are way to prevent this kind of fatal crash? Reinstalling Windows, for example? Thank you. James
