I have a MacBook Pro running OS X Snow Leopard with the latest updates.

I'm using Parallels 5.0 to support WinXP.

I can't get my printer to work on the Windows side. There's no problem in Mac outside of the Parallels Desktop.

    Can someone please help me?

    Any luck?

I can get my printer to work in Mac and VM but have to shut down VM before Mac can recognize the printer. Have you figured it out yet?

In the Parallels menu, go to Devices, then USB and you can check and uncheck your printer there. When I want to print in Mac, I uncheck or disconnect it from Parallels; and then when I want to print in Parallels, I connect/reconnect it back to Parallels. See if that works.

    It works!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I thought there must be something I could do but had no idea what it might be. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Glad it works! If you have Parallels in full screen mode, you can right click on the Parallels icon in the dock and connect and disconnect the printer there, too.
