I bought a Parallels setup with half a mind to play some of my old games, figuring they would work in virtualization well enough. I realized after setting everything up that the virtual video card or whatever doesn't really support 3D. Doing some research, I found some rumors that this kind of support is in the works to be released soon in beta. Is this true? How long until such a beta is released?

Naturally an easy solution to this would be to use Boot Camp with Parallels' nice new cooperative features, but for two reasons; I have an "upgrade" XP disk, so I'd need an external cd drive to install it, and I've already spent some time with this windows VM. Is there any way to install Boot Camp with a Parallels VM so I don't have to reinstall and reoptimize XP?

Can anyone give me some advice on what to do? Or should I just wait for a Parallels update? Thanks for any responses...
