Greetings. I am running a mission critical application under Windows 10 via Parallels Desktop on a Mac OS host. The application is no longer being updated by the developer. Currently everything is running perfectly. I am worrying that over time if I continue to apply Windows updates that at some point the application may no longer run properly if at all. To avoid potential problems I am considering turning off Windows Updates and freezing everything as it is. I am trying to determine if this is a viable solution. If I do so is there any chance that my version of Windows 10, at some point in the future, will no longer work with future releases of Parallels desktop? Any advice here will be greatly appreciated.
