I have 5582 running like a charm, very nice, very happy!

One thing though I can't seem to figure out:
When I print in windows a .doc/.docx/.rtf with some standard fonts, like arial, helvetica, they are being printed in another very ugly font which I cannot recall. It looks a bit like a retarded and twisted typewriter kinda font. It ruins my layout.

-I have my printer (all in one) as the default one selected, which I prefer. Cause when I install the native drives it installs the whole bunch of app.'s and I already have those on mac-side.
    -Checked the languages/keyboard: fine

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Hmm... Let's find out where the problem is. This sounds like a PostScript error, or something on the printer side.
If you create the file from Windows, then open it from your Mac side, does it have the problem? If not, the issue is not Parallels, but rather your print drivers or printer.

If the issue is not Parallels, and you can print correctly from your Mac side, the issue is not the printer, leaving the drivers to blame.

I, personally, would try installing the bundled software to see if that overcomes the problem. If it does overcome the problem, your issue is with the particular driver you installed, or how you installed it.

Well, tested on mac-side, there it was printed the right fonts. (Got some other weird layout probs with pages, but that's another forum :)

So I guess I have to install the whole bundle in windows. Going to try that.

Thank you, Eru, for your reply

    Sure.
I would try the whole bundle, then un-install it, and re-install with less and less files, paring away at the package until you had the most minimal install.

I exactly did that -not on purpose I must say!-
I'm able of printing the right way now and having the minimum of the bundle installed.
Firts I thought, this is wrong; less and less is being installed, but the printer worked, so:
    I guess I' m just fine!
    Thanx,
    Ehra

I'm having this same problem with v7; strange font when printing file with Arial font from Windows using Wordpad, but text file created using TextEdit with Arial font prints fine from MAC. Can you describe the process and what you mean by 'installing the bundled software'. Thx.
