Hey folks, Just curious if anyone's run into this, or has any ideas. Due to various requirements, we're introducing Google Chrome into our environment. It's working well, but on the occasional menu screen, we're seeing really blurred fonts (see attached screenshot). This only happens within 2X, a normal RDP session seems unaffected. Changing Chrome's fonts within the chrome settings only affects webpage rendering, not Chrome's actual menus (the attached screenshot is the print menu). Server 08R2 doesn't allow changing DPI scaling, though there's known reg hacks, but they don't seem to help (text is larger, but still blurry). Just curious if anyone out there has ideas/suggestions, or has run into similar issues with certain apps. I know this is an annoyance with RDP in general, I know the Citrix forums have a lot of similar topics. Thoughts?
The blurriness may happen if "font smoothing" is not enabled. When using a 2X Connection, the client uses the same font-smoothing settings as the local machine. Do you have "font smoothing"/"clear type" enabled on the local machine from which you run the 2X Client?
