hey guys, looking for some info on this as ive had no joy elsewhere. im contemplating purchasing a mac pro, and am in reality only one step away from doing it. the only reason im holding back right now is because i frequently need to flash my xbox 360's dvd drive. currently this can only be done on a windows machine. the process is like this; 1-install a sata pci card into pc. 2-use sata lead to connect pc to 360's dvd drive 3-boot pc from floppy/usb into dos and run a certain dos application 4-flash drive 5-disconnect ill be using xp as the secondary o/s. now, as far as im aware, you cant boot from usb into dos in boot camp. and im not entirely sure that parallels can do it either. my questions are; 1-can parallels boot from usb drive into dos? 2-can parallels detect pci cards? eg, the sata one i will be using. notice- i did a search before posting. sorry for any 'silly' questions asked. thanks for any and all help provided guys. : )
Hello, I suppose the answers for your questions are no and no, unfortunately. The possibility to boot from the usb drive into dos perhaps will be added in our future versions. Best regards, Alicia.
