Running Parallels V8 trial, and trying to see if it's worth purchasing... so far I'm pretty sold, but I'm experiencing a strange issue when playing FF7. I'm losing connection to the Square Servers randomly, mainly if I swipe out of parallels into mac applications, then go back. I'm am unable to access the save menu as it times out trying to sync, which the fix is to alt tab out of the game, disable the local network connection in Windows 7 (in parallels), then go back to the game, wait a while, or get in a battle. It will time out and tell me I can save locally. At this point i can save locally for ever. When I'm finished, I reboot Windows 7 (in parallels) typically I can resync my local saves, and its all good. Some times I need to reboot both the mac, and windows 7. I'm running on a Retina MBP 15", Windows 7 - Ultimate, Latest version of Parallels 8. Anyone else have experiences with this?
