I've been having an issue where I'm generating large files in Vista running under Parallels on my Mac Book Pro. The files are Powerpoint 2007 files and tif files I captured using SnagIt 8. I'm running Parallels with the most recent patch I tried FTPing by downloading CuteFTP Pro, but the files were being corrupted on the journey. I tried zipping the files using the file using the Vista zip utiltiy and emailing the resulting archive from my gmail account. The recipient reported he couldn't open the file. I tried dragging the files to my Mac desktop and copying them to a flash drive, but this method almost guarantees corrupt files. I'm not completely convinced this is a Parallels problem, but the person I'm working with suspects it is. I searched these forums and did an Internet search (a quick one) and couldn't find anyone else reporting such a problem. So my question is, has anyone experienced similar file corruption issues and if so, what did you do, or if you have suggestions for work-arounds to this maddening problem. Finally, if Parallels isn't the source of the problem, any ideas what might be? And I can't blame Microsoft for this one, as other people on the project running Vista on a regular PC have not had similar problems.
