I've just installed Fedora Core 6 on Parallels 3188 for Mac. I went through the kernel panic problem and solved it by adding agp=off to the kernel boot options and reduced the X resolution in xorg.conf. My problem is that it still drops to a text-based login after going through graphical boot. The only error that I see is that ACPI cannot load RSDP or something of the sort and then when I get to the text-based login I get "TSC appears to be running slowly, marking it as unstable."

I'm running on a MBP Core Duo 2.0GHz with 2GB RAM. I installed Fedora in Parallels using the Fedora Core install option. I have 1GB RAM and 10GB hard drive allotted.

    Any suggestions?d
