New test install, took all the defaults and used Fedora Linux as the system type. Clicked Install Parallels Tools opened a root shell went to the mount dir and did sh install. It failed saying X server: xorg, v1.7.1 ... Error: there is no X modules for this version of X server I had to type that in 'cos copy and paste doesn't appear to work but we'll ignore the grammatical errors for now.
