Extreme CPU use XP/command.com

Client: XP SP2 latest updates
RC2
MBP 2.16/2 Gb RAM/100 Gb HDD

In XP run command.com to open the terminal. Type something (e.g. ipconfig /all). -> One core totally red, the other one halfway, system 50-70% CPU use. Fan kicks in, system very slow. Same with beta6 and RC1. Same full screen or windowed.

Anybody else?
