I'm currently developing a configuration application for an external audio device. In my set up I need to have the device connected as an external usb device so that I can use the device's specific drivers for testing in the app. In my app and in the DAW Reaper the device cannot be opened because of the input channels using WASAPI Drivers but can with ASIO Drivers. I've since tested the same setup on Windows machines in the office and everything works as it should. This leads me to believe its something to do with Parallels. Has anyone experienced this issue and has anyone found a solution? I like developing in parallels as I often have to switch between developing for Windows and developing for Mac.
