Could you guys remove the limitation on the desktop version that my password for an express install of Linux must be at least 8 characters long for "security reasons"? It's the silliest restriction I've seen in a while. Six characters is insecure, but "password" is just fine as a password? C'mon... How about just a little message about security below the input fields for the password if the user uses a short or simple password? And if you're really concerned about a minimum level of security, you need to do more than just check for the length of the password.
