I had a virtual machine called "WinXP" that I needed to move off my hard drive to get some space temporarily. I copied all of the files for a Virtual Machine, "WinXP" to a network folder on another Mac . I copied entire WinXP folder from ~/Library/Parallels/. (hdd, pvs, Windows Applications folder) After copying the VM files back to my local drive, I get the following error when trying to launch the VM: "Virtual machine cannot be started because of thefollowing problem:" "Unable to get the geometry of the virtual hard disk. Perhaps file /users/username/Library/Parallels/winxp/winxp.hdd is not a valid virtual hard disk file." Any help would be greatly appreciated. I went to restore a backup and I had removed the backups as well since I'd just made a manual copy of the folder. D'Oh! Thanks, Chris
