installed p4 as an upgrade from p3. I have vista 64 Ultimate on a boot camp partition my machine. P4 was able to use Vista 64 boot camp no problem on install. However the next time I tried to use it I received this message: "Unable to connect Hard Disk 1. A file or device required for the operation of Hard Disk 1 does not exist or is used by another process, or you have no permission to access it. The virtual machine will continue running, but the device will be disconnected." I can no longer use Boot Camp partition...WTF?
Please navigate to Vm Window Configure - Hard Disk 1, and make screenshot post it here, also click ok, and try to start - check is it help note hard Disk 1 should point to name of real hard disk wher eVM is installed I assume, that you are using build 3540
You are not being very clear and I cant tell what it is your trying to say. how do I navigate to Vm Window Configure - Hard Disk 1? You didn't even tell me where or what that is. Make a screenshot of what? Also,you say: "check is it help", is what help? Seriously I hope this isn't customer support because its terrible.
When you start Parallels Desktop , what do you see? Virtual machine Window, or small window with virtual machine icons?
