I have just finished a long journey dating back to June 09. I bought the new version of Parallels (then 4.0) and installed it on my MBP. Parallels broke my windows installation. Nothing would run. Since I bought the MBP with windows installed, I didn't have any disks and couldn't reload the system. I had a full copy of XP SP1, which I tried to SlipStream to SP3, but it wouldn't load. I tried the Parallels Transporter program on my desktop PC and couldn't get it to work.

Recently, I got a new HD and upgraded to OXS 10.6.2.

Fast forward. I got a valid copy of SP2 and got it to load. I got my new Parallels 4.0 working. There is only one minor problem left. Whenever I start the XP VM I get the message

    System extension cannot be used
The system extension "/Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/fusefs.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used.
    ......

This message doesn't stop Parallels/XP from running. This looks like a Mac file for OSX, but I don't ever see that message under OSX.

A little help would be appreciated.

Also, can anyone tell me how to upgrade SP2 to SP3. The info on the MS site is confusing and looks like they want you to download some spy software so they can snoop on your system.
