I'm installing on Fedora Core 5 using the rpm with the following command rpm -ivy Parallels-Wst-2.1.1670-lin.i386.rpm --nodeps It installs fine, but when I run the parallels-config command, I get the following error: Configuring Parallels Workstation 2.1 drivers... Compiling Parallels Workstation 2.1 drivers... Drivers have been compiled successfully. Installing drivers... Starting drivers... Loading Parallels Workstation 2.1 hypervisor ... Loading Parallels Workstation 2.1 vm-main ... Loading Parallels Workstation 2.1 vm-bridge ... Loading Parallels Workstation 2.1 vmvirtualnic ... /usr/lib/parallels/autostart/prl_dhcpd: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: can not open shared object file: No such file or directory Parallels Workstation has been successfully configured Then when I execute parallels I also get the following error: /usr/lib/parallels/parallels-linux: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I have the libstdc++.so.7 Libraries installed. Any suggestions?
