I installed Parallels 3.0 only to have Parallels show a dialog stating that there was an error during the conversion of the VM disk image. The program apparently copies the existing image and converts the copy. It appears that the copy process is successful but then fails to convert. This happens with all of the installed VM's. I can get Parallels to try once again by trashing the copy of the existing image only to fail again. My VM's exist in the shared user directory with the thought that all users would have access to Parallels. This method has worked perfectly to date.
