Eject (F12) works only in parallels

When Parallels is running, the eject key (and the F12 eject key) on my keyboard will only respond if the Parallels window is active; If any OSX app is active, the eject key is unresponsive. This is a Macally Ice keyboard. When Parallels is quit, the eject key resumes normal operation.

Behaviour was repeated once. Parallels otherwise runs stable, no crashes.

Any ideas?

Running version 3.0 build 5584 on OSX 10.5.1, MacPro 2x2.66 GHz Dual Core Xeon with 3GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM and 250GB SATA. Install process: Uninstall Parallels, Erase and Install Leopard, Install Parallels 5584. No Bootcamp, no Beta history, Parallel Tools are installed.
