Easy access to task manager

I generally get to it by right-clicking on the taskbar, but in coherence mode, it's a bit harder to get...

It would be nice to have an option (similar to the "Empty Recycle Bin") which would show the task manager.

 

You can try a keyboard shortcut to do it (Ctrl+Shift+Esc). That works just fine for me.
