Just a quick question to the forum. I have several activation keys for the following products: 1-Untitled permanent subscription (registered on October 13, 2016) Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac, Parallels Toolbox for Mac Permanent 2-Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac (1 computer) Permanent 3-Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac (1 computer) Permanent 4-Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac (1 computer) Permanent Question: It seems to be impossible for me to install back my Desktop 11 on a new iMac while having my Desktop 12 running on a MacBook Pro. Upon entering the license I got the following prompt: "You have reached the maximum number of activations available for your activation key (http://www.parallels.com/eula). Please purchase a new product license." Does it mean that once used a 'permanent' license can't be used anymore? Thanks to any feedback. Cyril.
Hello Cyrilrbrd, we have checked your account and confirmed that you have bought Parallels Desktop 9 full license then you have purchased an upgrade license for Parallels Desktop 10 (not a full license just an upgrade) then you have purchased an upgrade license for Parallels Desktop 11 then you have purchased an upgrade license for Parallels Desktop 12. So you are upgrading the same license to next version if you have purchased a full version then you can use it on another Mac but as it is an upgrade license you cannot use the previous license on another Mac.
Thank you for your reply, it makes sense, I will purchase a new (not an upgrade) license to correct this situation. What link should I follow for such?
