I am having a slight issue with parallels, after each reboot i have to run sudo parallels-config. This has been the case since day 1. (about three weeks) Like i said this is only a slight issue but if anyone knows how to fix it, i would really appreciate your help! Thanks all!

    I simply inserted the line
    Code:
    /usr/lib/parallels/autostart/drivers_start
in /etc/rc.local. This causes the drivers to load at system start.

    Best regards,

Thanks a lot. This should be considered as a Parallels or dash bug? Probably a combination.
I'm guessing what's happening but it could be something like:
    - You first run parallels-config which fails because of the bash->dash transition
    - The correct autostart script isn't added because of said errors
    - You fix the scripts and rerun parallels-config which doesn't detect it should be in autostart
