I installed Ubuntu 10.10 into Parallels Desktop for Mac 6, build 6.0.11990 and then installed Parallels Tools without problems. Parallels Tools appears to function just fine as far as moving the mouse cursor between the guest OS window and the Mac OS is concerned, but it is not possible to drag files from the Mac into the Unbutu window nor to drag file from Ubuntu to a Mac window. Does Parallels 6 not support dragging and dropping files between the two OSs, or is there something Idneed to do to activate that feature?

    It Should Work

    Hello,

Just got off the phone with tech support (I didn't have tools installed so I couldn't share at all). Drag and Drop is supposed to work. Did you get a message that there were some missing kernel files? You are supposed to "upgrade" the kernel. I think they mean recompile. Do you know how to do this?

It Is supposed to work. I just got off the phone with tech support for a different issue. I am having the same problem. They want me to "update" the kernel. Does this mean recompile? Ideas?
