I have some compatibility/bug issues with the last 2 releases (9308 and 9344) of desktop for mac and wish to return to a previous version. Where can I obtain that dmg file? Incompatibility/bug addressed in another post

    thanks

I just downgraded my version 5 back to pre9344 build, too. Had problems with SharedFolder files generating an error accessing a file in shared folder on Mac. I am using an iMac 24 with OS 10.5.8; 4GB RAM/Parallels 5 (updated to 9344 build); Windows XP/SP3. I create files in Illustrator CS3, back-save to CS (.ai); Open/convert CS (.ai) files in Corel Draw 13 and save as .cdr files to Shared Mac folder. I could always reopen the files in Corel Draw before the build update. I could no longer open the NEW .cdr files. Here's the kicker: I could still open any .cdr files that were saved before the build update in Corel Draw after I installed the build update. I even uninstalled Corel Draw and reinstalled it. I also tried different shared folder/files/apps settings in Parallels. I couldn't open any post build update files saved as .cdr files to the shared mac folder.

I finally had to uninstall the 9344 build; reinstalled the original upgrade to 5/parallels tools and now it is working fine again. I did try opening an .indd file from the Mac in CS2 Windows and saved it to the shared Mac folder, then tried to reopen in CS2 Win. It worked fine. It could be an incompatibility with Corel Draw, but I don't have time to play around with troubleshooting and had to do what I know would work.

Can you downgrade without losing the information/installation on your computer? (I'm on a MacBook Pro, if that makes a difference)
