In a Sequoia beta host + Sequoia beta virtual machine configuration, and perhaps others where Sequoia is involved, there is a bug where the memory usage of the virtual machine service will double on restart, so, for example, your 8 GB virtual machine will take 16 GB. In some cases, the RAM usage will continue to climb after that. Ultimately, this can lead to a kernel panic of the host Mac. The bug seems to affect all virtualizers that use the Apple virtualization framework, which includes, but is not limited to Parallels. It's present in all versions of the beta released so far.
