Do I need to Make USB bootable? trying to boot from usb.....failed I have an .iso image

    Hi
    I have installed parallels 9, as I don't have CD rom on my mac, I copied files from DVD on to a usb then going through the steps I chose USB it found the windows then I clicked continue, I entered my key then it started to install windows......then an error came up which was this pic attached.
    Saying no boot device available....trying to boot from usb drive.....failed

    GeorgiaC, how did you copy files to DVD? Did you do this from finder? I believe you got non bootable USB drive. Anyway, once you have ISO image, just connect it to virtual CD/DVD drive and start the VM.
    USB is not required for your case.
