I've been trying to watch movies off windows 7 via parallels but the display is going to sleep constantly. This also happens when I'm playing mouse based games, which is rather annoying. The only solution I've found to this is by turning off the energy saver option on my Mac's settings, but this is cumbersome considering I'll have to reset the settings after I'm done. Is there a more elegant way to prevent the display from sleeping on parallels?

Sorry but the solution you suggested does not solve my problem. The problem with my parallels is that it is constantly sleeping when I don't want it to, not that I cannot wake up from sleep.
