I just added a second monitor that is 1920x1080 (my primary display is 1680x1050), but the Win7 PD6 display driver only seems to offer 1920x1200, even if I list all options. How do I force the VM to 1920x1080 in Full Screen? I can stretch it in Window view to come close, but not good enough. Thanks

    Nobody uses Win7 on a 1920x1080 monitor?

Doesn't Parallels Desktop menu View -> Full Screen work for you, DoniK?

Full Screen view gives me a limited display area the size of the Window view, with the rest of the space blacked out (like a letterboxed movie). For example, if my Window view is 1880x1007; Full Screen keeps that same desktop resolution with the remaining space blacked out. If my Window view is 1680x1050, it also keeps that resolution -- it does not automatically change resolution to match 1920x1080 native.

EDIT: Fixed! I reinstalled Parallels Tools and now 1920x1080 is offered as a display resolution. I guess the monitor needs to be attached at the time of tools install for the driver to offer the correct native resolution.

Although it looks like Full Screen view is refusing go to the correct resolution automatically. When I first go to Full Screen view, I get a smaller letterboxed display. I then have to manually change the resolution to 1920x1080. Any way around that?

I know this is old but still coming up in search results. I've noticed that 1080p appeared after I've restarted Windows in virtual machine while having the 1080p screen connected - I think it just detects whatever is connected on boot-up rather than dynamically, It is a it unfortunate but on the other hand it takes 30 seconds to reboot it so no biggie.
