I currently have my Data drive as a VM disk image within Parallels. Speed of the VM is awesome. Speed of the disk images is a bit slow. I'm curious if moving the data from that drive to the Mac side and have Tiger share that folder via Windows File Sharing on the Mac side and and having that share mounted as the same F:\ drive would provide faster file access. Does Parallels know? Or anyone else tried this? I did a bit of a search on this forum and mostly found people discussing Parallels file sharing vs Windows File Sharing.
