Nearly every time I start the Win XP VM it boots up to the scandisk utility(or whatever the XP equivalent is called) to verify the volume integrity. Is anyone else having the same problem and if so are there any know fixes?
How are you shutting down windows? If you use =>Start=>shutdown you should not get the disk scan. If you simply shut down the virtual macine, it is the emulated equivalant of just hammering off the power button or pulling the plug, and windows will do a disk check on the next reboot.
Many of us try to shut down, but can't. BSOD more or less every single time I try to shut down. Which gets you a file system scan after reboot. /D
