Disk read error

    I am running Parallels Desktop 5.0.9308 on Snow Leopard. I had to force shudown my mac and now when I try and start my Windows 7 VM, I get a message saying "disk read error, press CTRL ALT DEL to restart". Now matter what I do, restart VM, restart Mac, it doesn't go away.

    Please help, I don't want to have reinstall a new VM all over again... grrrr!

    Any ideas?

    I'm having the same problem. Tried to repair permissions and it didn't help.

    Anyone have an answer?
