Using Parallels on iMac using 10.4 In transferring files from PC I ran out of space (32 GB). I used Image Tool to create 94 GB of unallocated space next to my virtual hd (C. Went to Vista's (Ulimate Edition) Disk Management & everthing is right & space there but the commands to partition don't come up when you select. Spoke to Microsoft & they said it can't be done on Mac (& shouldn't be). I said if so they should post that on their support site. Spoke to Apple and they said just to let go of using Windows. If you can only use such a tiny space (unless you use an external hd), what's the point of Parallels? Or are they wrong anbd this can be done?
John this is a snapshot. I don't know Apple but assume it's the same as a screen shot. Thank you for your assitance. I await your reply.
As it's not that I don't understand the screen, it's that there are no functional options available. I will be interested in your comments.
Right Click in the first line where Volume 1 , and you will be able either extend or create new partition http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-10878_11-6170510.html
I tried this many times and it didn't work. I then went to the title bar again & under Action the command was available. Thank you for helping me try one last time. Really excited to begin using your program now. Best.
