I have a new rMBP, and I'm ready to toss it out of the freaking window. And, I've been an IT professional for the past 15 years, so this comes after a LOT of patience has been expended.

What the actual crap was Microsoft thinking by adding gestures to the TrackPad that would pop up various crap Charm bars and App bars and Crap bars?

And, what in the world would possess Parallels to actually encourage this behavior by adding support for it? Ok, I'm fine with them adding support for it, but for the sake of my laptop, my window and my sanity, how the crap do I TURN IT OFF? My hand grazes the edge of the trackpad even as I'm typing this, bringing up that stupid Charms bar!

    ARGGGGhhhhhh...

    Worked Like a Charm

This worked perfectly. No more "touching just the center" of my damn trackpad and various parts of Windows 8 jumping in my way when I'm just trying to type something.

    Thank you very much.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    This saved my sanity.

Every single time I typed, no matter how careful, it seemed like the heat from my hand set off the gestures and opened up the damn Server 2012 Charms/Widgets/whatever they are called. In extreme cases it even opened the Start screen and my typing went in there which was massively frustrating.

Ever since making this change, my sanity has been returning.

Please, please make this a GUI change as it's a very annoying 'feature' from Microsoft.

    Thank you again!
