Hi all I have a directory under the C drive, inside Documents and Settings I named the directory Drop_30 I also opened a Window to the Folder Drop_30 on the Mac side of things. When adding or deleting files to this dir/folder on the Win side I can not see the update on the Mac side instantly. Only a click onto the Mac window will give me a new read-out. Is this expected behaviour? I have an application (Win) watching a Win Directory. Sensing a file this app performs a translation and saves the resulting file as an .xml in this directory. I then have an Automator Watched Folder from the Mac side that picks up the .xml file and via a JS imports it into an Adobe InDesign file. All this works on it's own but not as a workflow. The Automator never "sees" the placed .xml file. Can I force the Mac to see new Win files? How do I do this? Any hints very much appreciated Romano
