    Well,

I tried to run "Entropia Universe" and when it accesses DirectX I get an error like: "Render creation error: HAL device not available for default adapter".

Reading some thread about OpenGL here, I wonder how fast/well the integration into the mac Video System (video card) is.

Entropia Universe rquires a NVidia GForce or an ATI Radeon, my Mac Book Pro has an ATI Radeon card.

I assume the "special paralles" video drivers hide this fact and DirectX is asked for a radion card but answers: there is none.

Would it be possible to make DirectX on my virtual machine "beleive" it has a ATI Radeon card? Is it even possible to install an ATI video driver (I think that makes no sense, does it?).

    Regards,
    Angelo

As has been noted in other threads and the PW docs, PW provides a virtualized video device that does not reflect the underlying video hardware. DirectX support is (and will be) very limited.

If you want to play DX games use Boot Camp.
