I am trying to install a network camera that only has support for Windows, so I am trying to do it through Parallels. I think there is a conflict between the DHCP address range settings on the router and in the Parallels deskop. The software that came with the camera cannot find the camera on the network. When I use the software's option to select the camera via MAC address, it says it wants to send the camera an IP address that is within the range that was created by the Parallels network adapter's DHCP range. But that range does not match the DHCP address range of the router, so the camera cannot be found. My question basically comes down to, what is the best way to configure the Parallels network settings so that new network devices can be found automatically from inside the Parallels session. Should I "Enable DHCP scope for shared networking", or disable it? If enabled, what address range settings should I use with respect to the address range settings on my router? Thanks.

I suppose configuring VM in Bridged Ethernet is solution in your case, in this case VM will receive IP from router in the same range as camera
