Devices menu is grayed out and I can't install XP

    After getting Parallels up and running, I took the Windows disk from my HP Pavillion and tried to load it on the MacBook Pro.

    I created a VM

    Item 6 o npage 5 in the install guide tells me to "choose default CD/DVD-ROM from the DEVICES menu.

    Problem is, the Devices menu is grayed out and nothing can be selected. So, Windows doesn't load.
