    Hi,

What I have to edit (configuration file) in Parallels for my CD/DVD ROM in /dev/sr0 be recognized by imagetool (not greyed out)?

This problem in the virtual machine I fixed editing *.pvs file with Disk 0:1 image=/dev/sr0. With imagetool I tried a symlink ln -s /dev/sr0 /dev/hdc but doesn't work.

    Any suggestion?

    Hi.

Try to link /dev/sr0 to /dev/cdrom this may help to you.

PS: We will fix this problem in future versions.

This is the default in Mandriva 2007 and doesn't work. Well, I have to install everything from CD until you fix Parallels to see SCSI devices, not only IDE/ATAPI CD/DVD.

for your SATA cd/dvd-rom set the parallels to USE REAL DRIVE : then for path set to /dev/cdrom

this made it work for me.

    keep it keebler,
