Desktop for MAC static route

With an XP installation, can one do a static route in the form of
route add ... etc as would normally do with Win XP, in other words, is this command supported?

 

The command 'route' exists in Windows XP, so, of course you can. But there must be some misunderstanding somewhere, because Parallels doesn't reduce any Windows software functionality, it runs the full OS.
