I used an existing boot camp partition (Windows XP) as my virtual machine. For the most part I've got it working but two things I can't figure out.

    1) I had a bunch of files on the Windows desktop that don't show up in the VM. They are still there if I boot up directly into boot camp. Why don't they show up in the virtual machine?

    2) My iTunes files are missing. If I launch iTunes in the VM, my music library is empty. How do I re-populate the library?

    Figured it out

I turned off Desktop and Music sharing in Shared Profile (Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Shared Profile) and it resolved both issues. Silly me thought sharing would integrate with the existing Windows Desktop and My Music folders and not create new ones.
