So I got this sleek new MP3 player (the Dell Ditty DJ), and I want to use it with an online subscription service (napster). Of course, it runs only under windows, but thats why I bought parallels - to run stuff I would otherwise not be able to.

So I install windows media player 11, and napster. I register and sign up for the one month free trial. I am able to download music and play it in napster. No problems so far.

Then I plug in the MP3 player, and all hell breaks lose. Blue screens of death galore! Sometimes as soon as I plug it in, but most of the time it is able to detect and mount the player properly. I can even view it under windows explorer and browse its contents. But as soon as I fire up napster, and click on "Portable Device", BSOD. I have tried it about 10 times, and always the same result. :(

Please tell me I am doing something wrong here, and there is a way around this problem as I would really like to be able to use this mp3 player. If not, I might be forced to try bootcamp, something I'd rather not do!

    Thanks!
