I d/l and installed the RC2 version of Parallels. I use it to run a Citrix client to connect with our hospitals network and then run Dragon Naturally-Speaking 8.1 to dictate into medical records. Unfortunately, recognition and accuracy were significantly degraded with the "upgrade". It works, just with many more errors and at time frustratingly inaccurate corrections. I haven't changed memory settings, but I have 1G assigned to Parallels. Anyone have suggestions. I called Nuance Support and they of course suggested UPGRADING to DNS 9. They claimed that the degradation in performance was due to Parallels paying attention to Mac interface as well as the Windows VMS application. Thus, the USB microphone is split between Mac and Windows and Dragon gets less information upon which to make its word picks. Any suggestions?
