    hello there
I just switched to mac and parallels so I am quite new to this thing.

is there a way to install a decklink intensity pro card?
in the hardware manager it doesn't show up.

the card is from www.blackmagic-design.com - I am using parallels 3.0 on a xeon quad mac pro.

thank you and all the best from berlin

Parallels can only support sepcific hardware as they have to emulate (or virtuilize) it. As a general rule, any kind of special hardware beyond what they support would need to be used in boot-camp.

An exception to this rule would be USB devices, as Parallels can allow your VM to 'take over' the USB host controller on your Mac.

The PCI-Express card from the site you posted would most definately only work on the Mac side... Why do you need it from the Windows side? You could rip the video to the Mac's HDD then edit it through shared folders....
