Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac - Enterprise (updated to 9) - very good software BTW
But my laptop crashed and died. Have copied entire lost drive from TM back up to new machine. I expected all the license details to transfer.
But Parallels Enterprise 9 (was 8) now wants license activation on copied drive
I cannot now deactivate Parallels on now dead laptop (damaged SSD).
I have licence available. But I am cautious before entering details when asked to enter license on copied drive in case deactivation must happen first.
How can I free up licence and reactivate please?

Hello, we've just reset your Parallels Desktop 8 license key.
    Please check the issue.
Also please note that Parallels Desktop 8 doesn't compatible with latest macOS version.
Please check this out for more information about Parallels Desktop and macOS compatibility.

Great service. I'll set it up.
The next question may be that a critical Windows 7 PVM that the Enterprise used access on the now dead drive may show as inaccessible on the duplicate drive.
We'll see. Fingers crossed. Thank you

Do you have any back up copy?

It has happened again. My SSD has crashed irreparably. So I have backed up to a new hard drive. But my parallels 8/9 won't activate. Can you help again?

Hi, did you get any specific error during the activation?

Hi Maria, it is Parallels 9 - perfect for what I need. However the sudden death of my SSD has taken everything down. The back up reinstall to a new SDD has caused several programs to demand reactivation - including my Parallels. You can see from the above thread this has happened to me before.

Below is the license with the last three characters hidden. Please can this be reactivated at your backend? It is urgent and I am struggling financially so I cannot upgrade (I don't need to either). Is there a way for this not to happen if my HD crashes?
