    Hi All,

I have my copy of Parallels on my IMac and my Macbook.

I am about to sell the iMac and would like ot leave Parallels on there BUT would like ot know if I can downgrade the program to trial so the new owner can just buy the Parallels software and use the Windows Installation I already set up. (he has a licence for Windows).

    TIA

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but why not uninstall Parallels altogether and then download the trial version? Of course the new buyer could do the very same thing with very little effort.

I may be wrong, but I don't believe either Parallels or Windows is transferrable per se.

Hi, I could do that but I would like to save the buyer from setting up Windows.

I know him and know he has a valid licence for Windows.

so copy your virtual machines to another part of the hard drive, uninstall parallels, reinstall parallels with the trial key and move your virtual machines directory back to ~/Library/Parallels

That's essentially what I advised him to do. I think he wants to give him Parallels with Windows installed but on a trial basis.
