    Hi Parallels,

since one of the last updates of Parallels as Linux Kernel, after resume of a linux VM (nor Parallels Tools installed, because the installer is incompatible with Gentoo Linux):
    - the date is wrong - i have to update it manually from hardware to software by i.e. hwclock --hctosys - this was not required in the past
    - after longer suspends (severals hours or > 1 day) the virtual network interface has to be completely reconfigured to transport packets again - before it came back automatically or i was able to "awake" it by a simple manual dhclient call.

    linux kernel is a 6.18.3

If I try the same under Debian

    6.12.57_deb-13+arm64

the date issue is the same, while network seems to "heal" most times.

I know Gentoo is still not officially supported, but the fact it worked better in the past and it may affect general linux compatibility let me hope that you may be interested in a fix byself.

    thank you for your time,

    niels.
