Creation of .exe files all over the place!

    Seems like every time I open up PD7 on my macs, files are created like this: folder_or_filename.exe for everything in the root of my drives. drives me wacko! Does anyone know what could cause this? thx!!!

    Configure>Options>Applications>untick "Share Mac Applications with Windows"

    well, there's a rub. It is unticked and always has been as far as I know...
