I read that if you create a new snapshot it is easier to delete ALL snapshots in order to change to a fixed sized virtual disk. I THINK because mine is expanding (not fixed) it is SLOW on my new MacBook Pro. I can't make it a fixed size without deleting the snapshots. How long is this going to take to create 1 snapshot? How long to delete 1 or 2 snapshots? My HDD file size is 60 gig but I don't really think I need all that space for MS Office 2003.
    Can anyone help? Thanks!

Why create a snapshot if you just want to delete them?

How many snap shots do you have and what size are they?

Why do you want to create a fixed size disk? An Expanding disk takes less space. A 60 GB expanding disk won't take 60 GB of real disk space unless it actually has 60 GB of files.

How much disk space is used on your C drive? Deleting snapshots may require reading and writing all that used space at least once.
